1. Scope
These Terms and Privacy Policy apply to the Glider Awards website, quote requests, badge orders, checkout requests, contact forms, newsletter subscriptions and related communication. By submitting an order or inquiry, the customer confirms that the provided information is accurate and that they have authority to place the request on behalf of the named club, organisation or individual.
2. Independent Product Concept
Glider Awards is an independent product concept for premium metal gliding achievement badges. It is not an official FAI shop, official NAC service or official federation ordering platform. Formal achievement validation remains the responsibility of the relevant NAC, federation, club or competition authority.
3. Orders, Quotes and Production
Orders submitted through the website are treated as order requests until confirmed by Glider Awards. Prices, production timing, customisation, engraving, national editions, packaging and shipping are confirmed before production where needed. Custom or special edition work may require written approval of design samples before manufacturing.
The customer is responsible for checking names, serial numbers, quantities, delivery data and artwork approvals before production. Once a custom production batch has started, changes may no longer be possible.
4. Prices, Payment and Delivery
Prices shown on the website are gross customer prices. They are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise. Shipping, custom design work, numbering and other optional services may be listed separately and added to the order total where applicable.
Payment may be requested by bank transfer, card payment or PayPal where available. Bank transfer details are sent only for the relevant order request. The customer must copy the order reference into the payment reference/message field so the payment can be matched to the order.
Shipping costs, delivery estimates, customs duties, local taxes and import charges may vary by destination. The customer is responsible for any customs, import or local tax obligations unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Withdrawal Right
Where mandatory consumer protection law applies, consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day they receive the goods. To exercise this right, the customer must send a clear withdrawal statement through the Glider Awards contact form or by email before the 14-day period expires.
The customer is responsible for returning the goods in unused and undamaged condition. Refunds are issued after the returned goods have been received and inspected, using the original payment channel where reasonably possible.
The withdrawal right does not apply to products that are made to the customer's specifications, clearly personalised, individually numbered, engraved, custom-designed, produced as national or club-specific editions, or otherwise manufactured specifically for the customer.
6. Customer Data We Collect
For order handling and communication, Glider Awards may collect and process the customer name, email address, club or organisation name, billing address, shipping address, order notes, ordered products, quantities, coupon code, payment method, order reference, payment status, timestamps and related email communication.
Contact form submissions may include the name, email address, organisation and message content provided by the sender. Newsletter subscriptions may include the name, email address, consent timestamp and Mailchimp list tags.

11. Payment Providers
Card payments may be processed by Stripe and PayPal payments may be processed by PayPal. These providers may process payment data, transaction identifiers, technical metadata and fraud prevention information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Glider Awards stores order references and payment status updates needed to match payments to orders.
12. Data Sharing
Customer data may be shared only where necessary with service providers involved in website hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment handling, production, shipping, accounting or legal compliance. Glider Awards does not sell customer order data.
13. Retention
Order records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for order history, customer service, accounting, legal compliance and dispute handling. Contact inquiries that do not result in an order may be deleted when they are no longer needed.
14. Customer Rights
Customers may request information about their stored personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where legally possible, restriction of processing or a copy of their provided data. Requests can be sent through the contact page. Some records may need to be retained where legal, accounting or legitimate business obligations apply.
15. Security
Glider Awards uses reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect order and contact data. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but access to operational records is limited to the purposes described in this policy.
